I do believe that a picture is worth a 1,000 words. By that reasoning a video should be worth at least 10,000 words, don’t you think? I could tell you how, but I think you’ll much prefer to watch how to separate an egg.

eggs whole & broken, how to separate an egg

When I first saw a video using this technique, it was accompanied by a sound track in Japanese. Although I realized that I had no idea what the soundtrack meant, it turned out not to matter – after all, this is all about the action, not the commentary.

So without further ado, here is my first MotherWouldKnow video:

How to Separate an Egg

Since I first put up this post, I’ve done a few other videos: on peeling tomatoes, peeling ginger, and using an immersion blender. Although they may not be as cool as this one, they’re time and aggravation savers. Plus they are short, so what do you have to lose by watching them?  Answer – Less than a minute of your precious time:)

Do you have tips you’d like to see me demonstrate?  Let me know via the Mother Would Know Facebook page, send me a tweet, or email me via the contact page on this site.

See you soon – in my kitchen and yours.
