Chocolate-Filled Bites
Chocolate whipped cream in small bites – a simple concept for an elegant holiday dessert. Use orange or other liqueur to add another layer of flavor.

  1. Mix the cocoa and confectioners sugar in a small bowl. Add the Grand Marnier and 2 tablespoons of the heavy cream to make a syrupy chocolate sauce.
  2. Add that sauce to the heavy cream.
  3. Whip the cream to soft peaks. Start at a low speed and move to medium speed for just a few minutes. Take care not to over-beat the cream.
  4. Spoon or pipe it into the mini phyllo shells.
