Laura, I still say your guilty pleasure songs don't seem very embarrassing - I don't think anything sung in French could hold a candle, embarrassment-wise, to Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton singing "Islands in the Stream"!
Gail, I have added "Ring of Fire" to one of my three cooking playlists - love that song; it burns, burns, burns - thanks for the idea. BTW one of my faves to move in the kitchen to: Etta James singing "Seven Day Fool" - put that on and just try not to dance!
